So this is what we have been doing this weekend…playing ATARI.  Does this bring back memories for anyone else out there?  I absolutely LOVED playing the ATARI as a child…and am happy to report that I do still have the skills!  Ben and I have had Centipede wars all weekend…and yes I am the MASTER!  Ben got this out of the attic, dusted it off, and the games began!  Because it is so simple…only a joystick and one button…Carter has enjoyed playing it as well.  Don’t you LOVE taking trips down memory lane?  I seriously reverted back to an 8 year old child playing ATARI against my dad daily!  Ohhh ATARI, my long lost friend!

Caroline’s First Hair Cut!

I finally decided to get Caroline’s hair cut!  It was getting too long, but I was so afraid the baby curls would go away.  There was just something about cutting her hair that seemed like a BIG step for me.  My little baby is definitely a little “lady” now!  This was such a different experience then getting Carter’s hair cut.  She sang all  morning, “I’m going to get my hair cut!”…RAN into the salon…jumped up in the chair and could CARE LESS if I was even in the room.  Carter pretty much had to be held down!

How great is this view??

This was our view from our balcony for the past few days…HEAVENLY!!  We went with our great friends (the Clems) to Cabo San Lucas last week.  We stayed at the Sheraton Del Mar…which was breathtakingly beautiful.  We did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!  We would wake every morning, put on our bathing suits, go down to eat a huge breakfast buffet, and then sit by the ocean until the sun went down.  Meals were prepared for us…no watches were needed because we were on NO ONE’S schedule besides our own…no diapers…no disciplining…no laundry…OHHH, it was a beautiful thing!!  I read 2 books and 4 entire magazines in 3 days…all in all a perfect vacation.

The beach was beautiful!  Either direction you walked the beach was totally isolated.  See, we could even act silly and romantic because we didn’t have a care in the world:)!

This was our resort behind me.

This was the infinity pool.  On our first day down at the pool we went to check out towels and I offered to carry my towel to my chair.  The gentleman working kindly said, “Oh no…our job is to make your life as easy as possible!”  (if you insist)

It is hard to tell by these pictures, but the waves were breaking at 10 feet tall.  They were enormous!  Slightly dangerous, but we had a blast playing in the water.  We saw several rescues from the ocean because the under current was extremely powerful!

Ben and Kevin played golf at the Cabo del Sol Ocean Course.

Could this be any prettier?

On our last evening we went on a catamaran sunset cruise.  It was beautiful!  The perfect way to end our vacation!

How cute are they?  We couldn’t have picked better friends to literally do NOTHING with.  We did nothing but talk and read all day long…and we still had great conversations at the 10th meal of the trip:)!  Good times!  Great friends!

Halloween!!

We had a great time trick-or-treating this year.  Carter ran from house to house as fast as he could…sweaty head and all!  Caroline was always the last of the bunch with her tiny little legs…but she had a blast.  She loved getting candy in her bucket…and would say “Thank You” as loud as possible!  It was adorable!!  Carter was an army commander…and Caroline was a fairy!
